Is it considered sad if you go to the dog park to play with other people's dogs because you can't own one yourself?

i rarely ever see the people that live in my building. but today, i saw one of them. it was fascinating. half of his face was missing. he had no nose, there was a white bandage covered over where there should have been one, and his skin looked as if he might have endured some kind of severe burn. he wore thinly rimmed silver glasses, and a mop of brown hair...that looked questionably authentic.

i think i'm gonna talk to him the next time i see him.
